WPP - Hogarth, Chennai

My journey began at Hogarth (WPP), where I worked in a fast-paced environment delivering digital experiences for global brands. This role laid the foundation for my frontend development skills, with a strong focus on precision, responsiveness, and consistency.

Over 2.5 years, I worked on a variety of digital assets including campaign banners, emailers, and interactive eDetailers. This experience taught me how to translate high-fidelity designs into reliable, production-ready code while maintaining performance across devices and platforms.

Roanuz, Chennai

I then moved to Roanuz, where my role expanded into full-stack development and system design. Over time, I took on greater ownership, contributing not just to development, but also to architecture, scalability, and product thinking.

Omnishop — Ecommerce Framework

One of the key platforms I worked on was Omnishop — a scalable eCommerce framework powering multiple B2B and B2C platforms, collectively serving millions of users.

I contributed to building flexible, CMS-driven architectures using DatoCMS and GraphQL, enabling non-technical users to manage complex content independently. I also worked on performance optimisation through SSR and SSG strategies, integrated Algolia for high-speed search, and leveraged marketing tools like Klaviyo to enhance customer engagement and conversion flows.

This experience helped me understand how engineering decisions directly influence user behaviour, performance, and business outcomes at scale.

Teroshop — Ecommerce Product

Building on that experience, I worked on Teroshop — an eCommerce product developed from the ground up, where I contributed across frontend systems, backend services, and architecture.

I developed a modular design system using React and TypeScript, enabling scalable and reusable UI development. On the backend, I worked with Python-based microservices, integrating with Microsoft Business Central and building APIs to support dynamic workflows.

A key highlight was developing a Generative AI-based theming solution that allowed clients to generate customised storefronts based on their requirements. This reduced dependency on manual design processes and introduced automation into the product experience.

Clink — Payment Links

I also worked on payment systems, designing secure API architectures and integrating multiple payment providers. This involved handling real-world transaction flows, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating closely with stakeholders for smooth and consistent releases.

Thoughtworks - IDFC Bank, Chennai

Currently, I work at Thoughtworks as a Senior Consultant, focusing on backend and data-intensive systems in the financial domain.

I am part of a wealth management platform rebuild for IDFC Bank, where I design and develop data pipelines that process large volumes of financial data with a strong emphasis on accuracy, auditability, and scalability.

My work includes building transaction processing systems, FIFO-based computation engines, and reconciliation workflows that ensure data correctness across millions of records. I also focus on performance optimisation and reliable data processing using modern data engineering practices.

This role has strengthened my ability to work on systems where correctness, performance, and trust are critical.
